Scott Borg

Aussie classical guitarist Scott Borg performs extensively as a chamber musician and soloist, and has been featured at major venues such as Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, at the Apollo theatre with rock guitarist Carlos Alomar, ICPNA Festival Peru, and the Shell Darwin International Guitar Festival. He has performed for the Chinese President Hu Jintao, and will be making his Carnegie Debut in Weill Recital Hall as a winner of Artist International. Currently a Doctoral candidate at New England Conservatorium studying with critically acclaimed guitarist Eliot Fisk, Scott previously received his Artist Diploma from Yale University and a Masters of Music from the Juilliard School, where he studied with guitar greats such as Sharon Isbin and Ben Verdery. A huge advocate of classical guitar, his other loves include eating mangoes, the color green, and throwing boomerangs.
