Michael "Suke" Cerulo

Michael “Suke” Cerulo–How good do you have to be at playing lead guitar to get signed to The Allman Brothers record label? Really good! We are so excited that Michael “Suke” Cerulo is teaching for NYC Guitar School. Suke’s band Schleigo charted in the top 20 on CMJ and college jazz radio charts, and played with not only The Allman Brothers, but Bela Fleck, John Scofield, G. Love and Special Sauce, Galactic, Moe and many more top acts. Suke is our resident jazz expert and deep theory man. He also possesses the patience and clarity to effectively teach sections of the Guitar for Absolute Beginners course and beginners in any style--and he was recently chosen to be in Who's Who in American Education! We are proud to utilize Suke's superior skill set by enlisting him as our Lead Guitar Program Director.
