Tom Burda

Mesmerized by the powerful guitar sounds of Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughn, Tom first picked up the guitar at the age of 14. He spent his free time studying jazz, classical, and flamenco guitar at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music. Then, he headed off to Boston to attend the prestigious Berklee College of Music, where he earned a BA in Professional Music with concentrations on guitar performance and music business. Tom has a relaxed and patient style of teaching that makes all of his students comfortable to fully explore all the possibilities of making music. He is well-versed in a plethora of styles that can help anyone from very beginning students to advanced students learn to rock! Tom also writes and performs with his original jazz/rock band "Redux". The band recently relocated from San Diego and has toured all over North America. Their debut album even spent several months at the top of the CMJ jazz Charts.
