Rock Guitar for Teens Ages 13-17
Level II: Intermediate Strumming, Chording, and Riffing + Power Chords, and Eighth Note Licks

If your child loves to play Guitar Hero or Rock Band, they will love how exciting and achievable learning to play a real guitar can be!

This class takes a revolutionary new approach to teaching absolute beginners. Students learn as they actually play along to some of their favorite rock songs starting on their very first day.

This class builds on the skills mastered in the Rock Guitar for Kids Level I class. Students should be comfortable with basic open chords and tablature reading and be able to play some songs by heart. Your child will also enjoy immediate results as they play along to great songs like "Born To Be Wild", "Hit Me With Your Best Shot", "American Idiot", "Smells Like Teen Spirit", and "Nothing But A Good Time".

In order to graduate to Level III, students must master and perform two complete songs. Songs could be any two of the following: "Smells Like Teen Spirit", "Enter Sandman", "American Idiot", "Sunshine of Your Love", "Iron Man". Students must play the "Centipede" @ 120bpm and be able to find Power Chords on the 6th and 5th Strings.

We've worked hard to make this class work for the student AND the student's family:
