Amy is a recent graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts where she studied musical theatre. Originally from Bethlehem, PA, she is embracing the excitement of New York City life and enjoys playing her guitar, songwriting, and biking by the Hudson.
Ashley comes to us all the way from Houston, TX. Back in the Lone Star State, Ashley was absolutely passionate about dance and ballet, so after graduating high school at age 17, she moved to the Big Apple to study Fine Arts Acting at Marymount Manhattan College.
Elaine began her tenure with us as a doting mom; her two daughters Jessica and Meghan began taking guitar lessons here and we loved her so much that we secured her as a bookkeeper so we could see her all the time! Now she rocks all night and all day (literally...she works hard around the clock, she cares so much!) with us.
Jen still writes and performs, but as Director of NYC Guitar School, she spends much of her time creating classes, arranging schedules, teaching, and leading the teaching and office staff.
Lijie first began her music career on piano and took several years of private piano lessons. She wrote her first full-length song in middle-school, and began playing and writing songs on guitar when a college roommate brought an acoustic guitar into their dorm room.
She has been playing guitar for 12 years, striving to completely master the art of "face-melting". Michelle is excited to be a part of the NYC Guitar School, where she can share her passion and deep musical knowledge with students.
Vanessa graduated from Catawba College with a BFA in musical theatre and recently completed one year at the New York Film Academy Musical Theatre Conservatory.
