WHERE NEW YORK CITY PLAYS GUITAR
Date:January 24, 2017

Jack Skuller

Jack picked up a guitar when he was 11 and he released a record on an indie label by the time he was 14, setting the stage for an authentic rock and roll teen life. Radio Disney took notice and gave Skuller the opportunity to tour 15 major cities in the U.S. In 2014, his songwriting and musicianship were recognized by the Songwriter's Hall of Fame and they awarded him the Holly Prize in tribute to the legacy of Buddy Holly. Now, as the frontman of his band The Skullers, his latest work showcases his growth as a singer, songwriter, guitarist and harmonica player.

Studying Music and Technology at Stevens Institute of Technology, Jack is irresistibly drawn to sound and its connection to people. He studied guitar with Carlos Alomar (known best for his many years of collaboration with David Bowie) and loves sharing his musical passions with budding musicians.

A committed supporter of coaching personal greatness, Jack is thrilled and delighted to be a part of the NYC Guitar School community!
