Jobelle graduated magna cum laude from Skidmore College with a degree in music and psychology, because her two passions in life are music and helping people! In the past, she strove to make a difference in the lives of children and students of all ages in many different settings, from schools and private tutoring to hospitals and a psychology lab. Now with NYCGS, Jobelle aims to use music education to help students reach their full potential.
Jobelle has studied piano since she was five, but focuses now on voice. After several years of training in pop, Broadway, and some classical, Jobelle found her home in jazz singing. She also has experience in conducting and audio engineering and loves music theory. She uses these skills to pursue her other musical passion, avant-garde composition.
